why i hate craigslist and will never use it again:

for my birthday i got a new dresser for my room. i put the old one on craigslist. a few people asked about it and then fell off the face of the earth. one girl said she'd buy it, then the next day told me she changed her mind. then some guy said he wanted it for his daughter. he comes by to look at it, says he'll take it, and he'll come by the next night to pick it up. he never comes by. i tell him i'm going out of town, so if he wants it, he needs to pick it up at this time. says 'ok!' and doesnt come. emails me a week later asking why i haven't responded to his calls or emails, to which i reply 'i told you i'm going out of town. i'm in europe.' i tell him he can get it the sunday i get home. he says 'ok!' and doesn't come. fast forward two weeks, he emails me asking when he can pick it up. i say wednesday or thursday. he says he'll see me thursday. doesn't come. calls me today and says he's got my money and if he can stop by. 11 am on a weekday...i tell him i'm at work (duh) but my brother will be home UNTIL 1PM. he calls me at 1:15 saying my gate is closed and no one is home.

i am never putting anything for sale on craigslist again.
